👋 Hey,

I learned something useful this round.

Even when the score doesn’t line up, the process still can.

I went out trying to break 90, but what actually mattered was how I made decisions, how I handled pressure, and how quickly I reset after things didn’t go perfectly.👇

As a high handicapper, bad shots are still part of the deal. They’re not the problem.

The problem is when one bad shot turns into two or three because we start chasing or forcing things.

This round was a good reminder that progress in golf isn’t linear. It’s built by stacking small, sensible decisions over time.

Don’t be that guy behind me on the tee box! haha

🎯 Focus for Next Round

  • Clean up short putts - Lessons, HackMotion and practice tiger gate drills.

  • Practice 25–50 yard chip shots

  • Put some work into my new 7 wood and 5 hybrid on the range

What are you working on to improve?

🙋‍♂️ Stop expecting perfection. Play the game you actually have.

💬 Question of the Day!

If golf didn’t measure strokes, what would it measure instead?
