👋 Hey,

Ever wondered if moving back a tee actually means you’re ready, or just making golf harder? 👇

🎥Feature Video: Which Tees Should I Play, Most Golfers Get This Wrong

🤔 One thing that surprised me

After a year of learning golf, lessons, new clubs, and about 40 rounds, moving back a tee didn’t suddenly make the course feel right. Some holes were playable, but others still asked for shots I don’t hit often enough yet, especially long par threes and longer carries.

Choosing tees based on habit or ego. At the start, I followed everyone else. After a few rounds, I moved forward so I could learn instead of just surviving. Coming back a year later confirmed something important, just because you’ve improved doesn’t mean further back is automatically better.

🙋‍♂️ The thing that actually helped

Matching tees to my real carry distances, not the one great shot I hit once in a while. When par threes let me pull a club I actually trust, and par fives feel like three shots with a simple plan, the whole game changes. Playing forward doesn’t dumb golf down, it just lets you play the game you actually have right now.

Which tees are you playing from and why?
